Easter courier collection and deliveries

April 4, 2012

For those of you who have given up something for Lent you can finally see the finish line. That’s because after nearly 40 days of abstinence, the Easter Bank Holiday weekend is nearly upon us.

So just in case you are so focused on being able to have back what you previously gave up, we wanted to make you aware of the changes to courier collection and delivery services that are happening over the Easter weekend.

Here’s an overview of important information:

Good Friday 6th April: No courier collections or deliveries

Saturday 7th April: Saturday delivery parcels collected before the cut-off will be delivered

Easter Sunday 8th April: No service

Bank Holiday Monday 9th April: No courier collections or deliveries

Tuesday 10th April: Normal collection and delivery service resumes

Please take note of the above if you have booked a courier collection via collectmyparcel.com or if you are expecting a delivery from any of our courier partners including City Link, Parcelforce Worldwide and Yodel.

Collections are still taking place today (Wednesday 4th) and tomorrow (Thursday 6th) so if you have something to post, the message is to book your collection now.

In the meantime, everyone at collectmyparcel.com wishes you a very happy Easter break. Let’s hope the weather doesn’t let us down and we get to enjoy some time in the sun with lots of chocolate Easter eggs. Yum!

Happy Bank Holiday Monday!

August 29, 2011

Good morning and a happy Bank Holiday to you from collectmyparcel.com! If you are off work today we hope you enjoy yourself. Fingers crossed the weather won’t let us down and there will be a chance to get outside.

There will be no collections or deliveries today… This is just a reminder that our parcel delivery courier partners will not be performing any collections or deliveries this Bank Holiday so please don’t wait in for the doorbell to ring, or worse still get disappointed when no-one turns up!

Instead if you are expecting a Next Day delivery there will be a one day delay meaning you should receive it tomorrow (Tuesday 30th August) – and any 48 hour services should be with you by Wednesday 31st August. Do remember if you have any problems you can get in touch with us. Our contact details are here. http://www.collectmyparcel.com/contact.html

You’ll be pleased to know we will liaise with the courier partner on your behalf so you don’t have to. That’s all part of the after sales service and one of the benefits of posting your parcel with collectmyparcel.com. What’s more in the meantime if you want to find out where in the network your parcel is, you can visit the website and type in your tracking number. Oh, and one more thing -  Normal business resumes tomorrow – that’s Tuesday 30th August.
